It runs, just not correctly. It needs to have the idle and timing set. I can't get a definite answer on the order. Can't set timing without the idle being correct, can't set the idle without the timing being correct. Yes, it does have working AC.

Has anyone tried statically timing it? In other words, with the engine off, hand crank the engine so that cylinder one is at TDC, advance it 10 degrees (or whatever the specified timing is), and adjust the distributor so that the rotor points exactly to the cylinder one post.
