Title: A/C question
Post by: Donster on March 25, 2012, 04:29:20 pm
It seems that pressure is staying in the system, but yet it will not blow cold air.
What should I be looking at?

Get a manifold gauge set and check both the high and low pressure sides during operation and off. Make sure all pressures are in spec. If the high is too high while the low is too low, it indicates a blocked orifice tube.

Hmmmm.
Are you certain that the air-flow door is moving into the correct position?

How would I check that? I can hear the actuators moving

I don't know for certain. I've never had the dash apart enough to view the setup.
I'm not sure how the motors engage the door stems, i.e.; if, or how they could slip.

Is this the one from which you removed a lot of debris from the box?
