i can't find a filler neck for under 100 bucks new. what hose will resist fuel? will radiator hose work?
-
Radiator hoses are designed for a different environment. Heat and Ethylene Glycol, most commonly. You can still get the fuel filler hoses at The Fiero Store.

sorry, i meant the fuel filler neck and hard lines down to the tank hoses. tfs had a used one.....i went ahead and ordered a salvage unit off eBay. I've got fuel spilling out of mine when i fill up. its kind of embarrassing......but then again, are in Georgia....it's probably street-cred or something.... ;D

Hey, how DARE you make fun of the great State of Georgia!
I'll have you know that the standards for quality, tensile strength, and thread count of rags used to replace your gas filler cap are of the Highest Standards!

old socks and red rags both work great...until it rains or i flick my ashes..both end bad for me. :-\

The TFS filler tubes need a lot of work. They sell the best of what they have, and each successive person gets the next worse one. If you can find one in a junk yard, that is the way to go.
