Title: Repairing rear brake calipers
Post by: TopNotch on August 20, 2015, 08:27:28 pm
My brother has been fixing up the red Fiero he bought from me, and found that the e-brake mechanism wasn't working properly on one of the calipers. As you may recall, I had put Grand Am rotors and Cadillac calipers on the rear of that car. Well, he found on, of all  places, a Ford Bronco forum, an article on how to rebuild those Cadillac calipers. It seems that owners of 70's Broncos like to replace the rear drum brakes with disks, and use those calipers, in order to have an e-brake.
This article would be helpful for rebuilding any GM calipers with the same kind of e-brake mechanism, such as stock Fiero calipers. So click here (http://classicbroncos.com/reardiscs.shtml) to see the article.

What happens if your rear brakes don't work?
