Anybody know where to get wing stand gaskets (besides a junk Fiero)? One of my brothers needs some.

Old gaskets can be refurbished by putting them into warm water to soften them. They can be reshaped to fit over the bottom of the stand. If his are torn around the stud hole area, he can put a spot of windshield butyl tape around the hole before installing the stand. It will help to stop water leaks into the trunk. It would also be a good idea at the time to put some never seize compound on the studs after they're inserted into the trunk. If the nuts seize onto the studs, it will usually break the stand should you try to remove the wing.

Someone on PFF looked into making some off a set I have. They apparently needed a high minimum order, but indicated these were no problem to make. I didn't get a reply on quantity or price, but this person has provided other products to the community.
I'm wondering if anyone could take this forward. It'd be great to have a source for these.

I spoke with TFS about making these, and it isn't off the table. I know their last run was too small.

These are available from TFS.

On my old 85, I soaked the old ones in very warm water, then while they were still pliable, put them onto the stands, stretching the edges over and around the base of the stands. Worked for me.

For those whose gaskets are intact, that often works. Sometimes, the gaskets are lost or damaged.

I'll bring you a pair to the RFTH.
I also have that sub-woofer amp chip for your brother.

I don't know if TopNotch still needs the gaskets or not. That was 2 years sgo, but there never was a resolution posted.

He got some somewhere.
