Title: I thought some of you might want to see the paintjob I just put on my BMW

Believe me; for me on one of my own cars that is a MILD paintjob!  ;D

Is that Blitz Blue?  I remember what the car looked like before.  Looks great.

Flames?  When I looked the first time, I thought they were ducks and you'd finally gotten them in a row  ;D

The color codes are listed in the Mods section above the pics. The blue & red I picked out of a color chip book, the silver is a mixing color (the biggest mettalic silver they have). The blue just says "dark blue" on the can. It's a beautiful color.
I first painted it without the red stripe, & while doing it I thought some folks might think it was waves. But in certain light the silver blended too much with the white, so I added the red. Really gave it a more crisp look & made it look more like flames.

Nah; it's not a show car. It's not detailed out under the hood, & I have too many other projects to spend much more time on it. I may take it to some local cruise-type shows, though, just for fun.
I may make the VW (with the Fiero drive train & SBC) nice enough for some serious shows...
Actually thinking about it, I've seen worse cars at the WOW before....  ;)
