owner just called and said the car is not a gt, but is a SE, does that mean its a notchie? oldone in c'ville

Yes. Looks just like your 85GT, but has dark gray ground effects instead of silver and has the auxilliary gauge pod over the radio and a 3rd brake light. If it's a 4-speed, then it's a V6.
Good to see you back. Where you been hidin'?

stopped and took a look at this car today and it's not bad. its a 86 se with wing. 14" turbos, gold(faded) no body damage,sunroof,5-speed or 4speed ,owner says 5speed. power windows, power door locks, under hood clean, couldn't see engine remote didn't work or no battery, headliner very good, seats tan and very good(both),door pandels good carpet looks good, dash ok cracks on the vent corners, funky two bar steering wheel, last contact with owner he say it runs good, asking $1800.00 call jackie simms 678-246-4919 p.s. is this price too high? i wouldn't mind having it for a bout half that price. oldone in c'ville

Whether it's a good price or not would depend on mileage, engine (6 or 4), condition. Late 86 V6 manual cars got the 5-speed. Earlier ones got the 4-speed. All 4 manuls got the Isuzu 5-speed.

vin number is 1g2pf3798gp252247, car needs paint, minor interior work, motor condition unknown.
-
Well, the VIN says it's a V6, so if it's a 5-speed, it has a Getrag transmission. That makes it worth a little more.
