I am going to take a WAG that it was either a cam sensor or knock sensor on a 3.1 or 3.4.

CTS is that brass fitting piece.  The other is the cam sensor.  Confirmed through Raydar.

You mean the plug in the middle?  I took the pic, but did not get it off my camera until much later.  I was completely disoriented.  I knew I took it for a reason, but not the reason.  Eventually, I needed the pic, so I went to take it again.  When I was ready to take the pic again, I realized what this was.
