And here's the quick summary:

This unique festival, drawing thousands of onlookers is centered in the downtown business district.
The Jubilee features classic cars, entertainment, antique tractors, art & craft vendors, children’s
activities, food and much more. The car show, drawing as many as 150 classic cars, will be

Antique, Classic, Muscle, Street Rods & Special Interest Cars
At the very worse you'll wind up getting Shrimp & Grits and some Buttermilk pie at Yesterday's Cafe.
-
There is not better place to eat than the Yesterday Cafe. Intresting place specially reading the table books. Usually stop there on the way back from the lake.
-
Was this place named for the Abbott and Costello baseball team?
Today, I can eat at Yesterday, so I'm not hungry tomorrow.
Table books?
I checked their menu, because they show buttermilk pie on the home page. Menu not available.

Apparently, we have a Yesterday's here. Sports bar, though.
-
Yes Table Books, people write about the experience there. Never read a bad comment, there is usually a book at every booth. And some that are written by kids are the best.
-
Ah. That is the yesterday part.
-
I've spent a lot of time on Lake Oconee and always went and came through Greensboro. Never heard of the Yesterday Cafe. Usually stopped at Holcombes BBQ for eats.
-
If you come off I 20 and go north on 44 when you get into town at the main light where 278/15 cross. It is on the left just after crossing 278/15
-
This is tomorrow.
-
I promised GTXVette that I would join him at the Riverstone gathering tomorrow at 3. How about you, DeShoe, ScottB?
-
It would take me hours in TRAFFIC.
-
Make your Fieros SHINE!
-
Im out, hosting Easter dinner on Sunday so Her Majesty has ordered the Castle and Grounds to be scrubbed from top to bottom......... Anyone know where Cinderella is?
-
She retired when she became "Her Majesty".
-
Well, hopefully you're having pie at Yesterday's Cafe... unless this one was also cancelled for weather.
Once, just once, I'd like to cancel the weather, instead.
-
No buttermilk pie, but I did win Best in Class.
1976-1999, (mostly) unmodified.
I thank the rain for hiding paint blemishes and causing a low turn out. ::)
-
Congrats!
-
Gonna be singing this song next week.

Let's hope so.
For all my levity about the rain, flooding is a serious thing. The rivers are starting to go down.
-
Forecast here is in sunny and 80's. No rain until Thursday.
-
BTW, I was told there are three Fieros at a junk yard near Commerce, GA. Smiths?
Anyone know about them?
-
There is a huge junk yard on US 441 south of the Ingles shopping center, going toward Athens. Never knew it was there until about two years ago. Never been there, though. There's also one a little further north, kind of between US 441, the railroad tracks and where Hwy 98 intersect. You would need to turn onto 98 like you're going into town. I've bought Fiero parts from him in the distant past. If you turn right on Hwy 98, there's one out there a mile or two on the left. Never been there either.
Do you have a name or location of the yard?
-
Finally, pics of the Southland Jubilee Car Show.

Nice variety, and your spot was very visible.
-
I guess you were in the '76-'99 class.
-
The place in Commerce with 3 junk Fieros is:
Smith Auto Parts
706-335-Two thousand sixty two
Usually open 1 to 5:30
-
I think that's the huge yard on the right side of US 441 as you head south of town.
I just looked it up on Google Maps and that is the one. It's much bigger than what you can see from the street view with the trees having their leaves.
-
New forum member 19Fiero87SE made contact with Smith's and decided against purchasing from them. They will not let you go into the yard. Of course, you pay for the parts they pull for you, plus you pay shop rate labor on top of that for their time removing the parts. He related that he had previous contact with them in years past. The man in the front carried on a private conversation on the phone for an extended period and made no effort to serve the customer.

Hoping to see pics of 19Fierp87SE's Fiero.
