Changes the valving to make the shifts firmer. ..... firmer equals harder..... in my opinion not worth the effort for a street car, can lower times when drag racing

My truck has a rebuilt transmission.  After the rebuild, it shifts a lot.  Not necessarily hard, but a lot.  For example, driving on a basically flat road at 40 MPH, it keepsupshifting and downshifting.  They claim it's bdcause they used a shift kit.

They used weaker springs than OEM.  That will allow a valve to open at lower pressure.

So, they could be right?  They're telling me it is an improvemrnt.  I learned that a lot of shifting in an automstic is bad.
