Located in Canton, GA.
I was at Donald Hulse's house the day he brought his first Fiero home. Additionally, he worked with me as a teenager and taught me to build the custom decklid templates and rebuild a Fiero GT and SE.
He took time with a smart-mouth kid and made a better man of me. I've taken lessons he's taught me and done my best to honor him.
I'm currently restoring a 1987 Fiero GT to drive in next year's memorial run as a tribute to his impact on my life. I'll be raising money through the year for ACS.

Welcome!
I look forward to seeing the progress on your restoration.
You just missed the Don Hulse Memorial Cruise.
-
Run For The Hills is coming up. It'll put a Fiero through its paces.
The sign in the background is unfortunate.
-
Again, Welcome. See you got PIP figured out, too.
As you already know, the next meeting is on the 11th and we're doing a scouting and trial run of this year's RFTH on May 18. Not the full-blown event, but just a 1-day scouting and documentation run. Hope your car's roadworthy and you can join us.

Soon.
Still a bit more shaking down to do.
-
@Fierofool, yep. I developed one of the first BBS/Forum platforms on the Internet.
In Cybersecurity, now. The image upload jam is pretty common. I just host from my own server farm.
"Don" (This Fiero) and I have to get to know each other a bit better. Then, I'll be ready to take it out on long runs.

Patrick, Welcome to the forum!
I lived not too far from Don Hulse, and was occasionally at his house for something or other. I'd be surprised if we haven't met. (My name is Steve.)
Looking forward to shaking your hand.
Your car looks great!

I swear, when I looked at this thread last night, everything fit the screen. Now I have to scroll across to see the right half of the image. Can you reduce the image width to 1024 pixels? That may be the problem. It will fit all our screens much better.
-
Welcome to the forum. My name is also Patrick. Here's your picture reduced in size...

-
Thank you, Sir!
-
Welcome. Look forward to seeing your progress and shaking your hand.

It's been a long time... I last spent significant time with him around 1996.
NoMad, I appreciate it and look forward to it, as well. I've made a lot of ground on it in the last few days.

Still around?
-
Yeah. Just really busy between these two companies and church.
Been working on the Fiero.
-
Glad you're still here. Will you have your Fiero ready for RFTH?
-
Patrick, we're doing a documentation run of the last half of the upcoming RFTH on July 6. Come join us. With you there will be just 4 cars.

...and two Patricks.

Still out there?
-
I am. I've been providing cybersecurity around covid vaccine supply chains and emergency care units.
Around, but barely. Drove the Fiero the other day after tightening up the alignment.
-
Excellent!
Hopefully, things clear up soon.
-
I hope so! When is the event?
-
This year's trial run will be April 17. The RFTH event will be September 24-26 with the actual run happening on the 25th.
-
I hope so! When is the event?
You're welcome to attend meetings and other activities, as well.
