Several years ago, I installed white faces on most of my gauges. Dunno what happened to the rest of the set. Recently, I purchased another set, and installed these white faces on my gauges. They looked great...during the day. At night, my original white gauge faces turn dark (which I had not intended), and the new gauge faces stay white (which is the look I had intended). Unfortunately, now my gauges still do not match. So, I'll have to do it all over again.
Moral of the story: be sure of what you are getting, install all of the set of faces, and test day and night.
My intent was to make the gauges easier to see/read. The newer faces are much easier to read day and night. The dark is hard for me to read at night.

A picture is worth 1,000 words--or so the saying goes.
Without further ado, not 1, but 2 pictures to illustrate:

See? No problem, right?

Um... See what I mean?

Hmmm. I've bern looking for replacement faces, but am having trouble finding a set for a GT. Actually, finding a set for an 88 GT. Sets for other years are available, and dark sets, but not white sets.
I looked at ausfieros' site, but his template is no longer available.
If you have a source, I'd be happy to try it.

Unfortunately, this site is in German only.
I got my converted (metric - Km/h - C°) overlays from here.
They also offer overlays in white and in miles / F°.

If, by the off-chance, you should order from there, you can have it shipped to my address and I'll forward it to you in the US.
But beware, rather pricy.

Thanks for the offer. I'd have to send mine in for scans, because my gauges are a bit different.
