ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE MOTOR IN THE GTP- 3400 DOHC 24 VALVES V-6? I'VE FOUND ONE AND WONDERED IF IT WAS ANY GOOD FOR A SWAP?   OLDONE IN C'VILLE

Some have done the swap -- search 3.4 DOHC on Pennock's.
Not necessarily the best bang for the buck, I've heard. The engine is heavy.

Aren't the later 3400's actually lighter than the 2.8?

I know the 3400DOHC engines will scream in a Fiero and a lot of people are installing them. The only draw backs I know of are the plugs are a PITA to change and if the timing belts have to be changed it takes two days to do it after you get the engine out.
