Yesterday, I crested a hill, and stopped at a stop sign, intending to make a left onto a state highway. Only thing was, I could not see the highway. There was literally nothing to see in front of me. So, I got out to look. The highway was so steeply banked, that the other side of the highway was 3 storeys lower. The highway was 2 lanes, each way, with a center lane. My truck canted at an unpleasant angle.
I don't mind driving through highzbanked turns at 130+ MPH on a track, but where the speed limit is 55MPH, and I have to start from a stop in the middle? Not so much.

I've seen something similar one time up in the Wilkes Barre, Pa. area where 2 roads ran parallel to each other along a ridge. We had to take a detour off I-81 due to a bad accident. Glad I didn't have to travel that path at night. It wasn't actually a banked roadway but a connector down a very steep hill between 2 roads.

At least water will shed. I wouldn't want to drive the highway I saw when it was icy.
-
Neither would I want to go down that connector in a Pennsylvania winter. My mental picture of it is close to a 45-degree incline. Probably wasn't but that's the image I have.
-
What I saw was felt very close, but probably was 10 degrees less.

What happens in Winter, when there is ice on the road?

You either slide down the hill because you're too slow, you are csrrying too much momentum to make the turn, or you wipe out, because you're on the gas.
