Is there a way to do this in 3 minutes or less, as in, without removing the upper intake?

Do you mean the fuel rail? I think you would need to remove the intake.

Yes, the fuel block on the fuel rail. On the other hand, a few more citations, and I'll be evicted. I have enough citations to cover one wall.
Removing the intake can't be done between sweeps.

You need to move down here. My security camera has recorded the code enforcement officer passing by only 5 times this whole year. Take home vehicle that sits in front of the PD most of the day when she's on duty. 8-5 and no weekends. All kinds of things going on without permits.

I have lived in many places. Nowhere is perfect. I'd like to move off the island, and a bit out in the country.
I had some experience with GA. It isn't perfect there, either.
I like snow every year.

I did eventually tighten this fitting, using an offset wrench.

I don't recall ever seeing a code enforcement officer where I live. No one has complained about that ugly parts car beside my house. But I probably heed to have a stripper party anyway, and get it gone. Anybody need a nice 88 cradle, or other 88 parts?

Lucky you. If my mower runs out of fuel, and I just walk to the back of my house to get the fuel can, I'll get a citation for leaving the mower out. The gestapo gave me a citation for inappropriate storage of building materials when I replaced my front door. I had leaned the old door up against the front of the house for several hours. The job was done on a Saturday. They're right. City hell makes a good dump.
I'm just about to 1,000 citations. They never actually stop by to talk to me; rather, they cowardly send the citations through the mail. When I spoke to the person in charge, he indicated that he didn't want his officers assaulted. Awww. Now that I'm home more, I've taken to sitting on the front porch with my rifle and an aluminum bat. Whenever the gestapo show up, I head in their direction. I have a suspicion they'll get more scarce around here, because the police don't have the manpower to escort the gestapo.
I already have a citation for my grass. I told them without a picture showing that my grass is over 4", it's invalid. Of course, since they can't get close enough to measure, they won't get far. Meanwhile, thr code enforcement officer orders stuff for his yard from one of my clients. I had the place modify the gestapo's order, such that it's like concentrated miracle grow. So, the gestapo soaked his yard with undiluted, concentrated stuff that makes grass grow fast. Not sure how well it will work, but maybe now he'll have something productive to do.

How is the space frame?
Although I'd hate to cut up a good space frame, I have need of an un-rusted, un-dented 88 back half. From the back window, including the firewall and front cradle mounts, to the rear bumper mounts.
This is at some point in the hopefully not-too-distant future. I'm certainly not in a hurry.

I am sure the 88' cradle will not be hard to move. Cost depending I might grab it from you for another mock-up tool.

Nope. Just need a jig to test fit engines.
Lots easier than test fitting in and out of a whole (disassembled) car.

I think Robs Fieros has one that he built years ago. It's in the shop in Athens, Tn.

It's good -- no rust southern car.

I don't know. It has been many years since I've seen it. Only once since he had his accident about 12 years ago. It was made from an 85 or 86 I believe. GT or SE body.

Just so we are all being fair, if certain people read the last several posts in this thread, they could reasonably state that the posts weren't related to the topic. Of course, reading all the posts in the thread, the thread took a new direction, which is fine. I'm just pointing out that the the expectations do not appear to be applied equally. :)

Like I posted, it went a different direction. Not pointing any fingers. My point was that there seems to be picking and choosing over who gets gigged for it. Maybe only the most persistent violators get gigged.
