Title: Digital Gauges
Post by: The Art Doctor on February 16, 2020, 10:14:00 pm
I found a modified Formula, it has digital gauges that I find hideous.  I see they sell for $500 new on ebay, so if I happen to get this one do you think I can pull these and replace with stock?

Car dash is:

kit I found on Ebay:

Tom is a great guy, and makes great products, but a lot of people have your reaction to those gauges.  You can pull the gauges and replace with stock, but likely can't get anything close to $500 for these.

Note that the image below also shows Tom's digital gauge smoked cover.  That cover will not work with the stock gauges.

I just was not sure if the original wiring was messed with to add them and it would make it difficult to reverse back to stock.   They are very 80's looking but not my style, too KITT or or something.  Once gone i'd throw them on eBay and see if one of the 35 watchers of the originals will bite.

I'm going to call/text on it tomorrow.  Its at the upper end of my range but I'm in love again......
