Today I replaced the Iggee seat covers on my yellow Fiero with new ones from RW Upholstery (https://rwupholstery.com/).

I was a bit disappointed with the last set of Iggee seat covers I got. Their quality seems to have gone down from what they used to be. My cell phone holster, which I wear on my left side, had damaged the vinyl. Iggee used to use a stronger vinyl.
The RW covers are not all vinyl -- the center part is a fuzzy cloth. I also bought a brown set for the 3800 car, which, I have been told, will be done at the paint shop within two weeks. Just in time for the Easter parade if that were still happening.

Remind me...didn't your old seat covers have yellow on them?
I notice that the set button on your cruise control is centered. Is that not a cruise stalk, or did you find a stalk with a centered button?
-
Yes, the old covers were yellow in the center. The car does not have cruise control.

Those look nice, did you install your self or have it done? If you did them was it difficult?
-
I did it myself. They're seat covers, not replacement upholstery, so no hog rings. But they are form fitting, so you have to take the seats out of the car to do the job. I managed to pull a muscle in my back doing that, but I got 'er done anyway. There are straps for the seat bottoms that are supposed to go under the seat rails, and I had to loosen one seat rail bolt to get the strap to fit on one side of each seat.
Yesterday was a perfect day for the job. The instructions say it will be easier if you let the covers warm up in the sun before putting them on, and there was plenty of sun for that.

Out of curiosity, why did you decide not to continue the yellow with these covers?

RW doesn't offer a black and yellow on their site. They probably could make them, however, since they make them when you order anyway.. But because the center part of their covers is cloth, not vinyl, keeping yellow clean might be difficult. Besides, change is good sometimes.
-
Yes, not my seat color of choice, but I did like the consistency. A lot of black, now.

If I may ask, how much did you pay for the brown set of covers?

$204, including $20 for the embroidered logo. Plus shipping, of course. Get them here (https://rwupholstery.com/shop/ols/products/slip-on-seat-covers).

They're still in the box. When I put them on the car, I will take pics.
