Title: Ground effects repair

How hard is it to get just the ground effects off the doors?

Remove the rivets on the bottom of the door and the plastic strip just lifts off, but then you have the metal mounting strip.  The rivets must be drilled out.  This leaves holes in the panel that must be covered or filled

I plan to replace the ground effects.  It's just that one has a black mark on it.

The rivets on the bottom of the door are flat head and plastic.  Take a very small Phillips screwdriver and push the pin up into the door, then remove the rivet.

Oops.  I was using a punch tool.
