Title: Turn signal not turning

My left turn signal does not want to engage.  I can move the blinker stalk up, and all is good.  I can cancel, and all is good.  When I want to move the blinker stalk down, the stalk does not want to go.

Any ideas?

Check for debris in the switch

Yeah.  Gotta dissassemble the column.

Not total disassembly, just have to pull the wheel off

The lever was catching on the cable.
