I have sent The Fiero Store a listing of all of our paid members for the year 2010. If you order anything from them, either online, by phone, or by mail, advise them you are a member of the Georgia Fiero Club. They will check your information against our membership list, and if you have paid your club dues, you will be afforded a discount. I believe the amount is 10%.

Does that include me? :o

Robbie, you'll need to check with 85GT to see if you're on the list that was submitted to them. I submitted an early list before turning it over to Jerry and it had my name on it, but I still don't get the discount. Just ordered some stuff and paid full price. Actually, I paid more for a package of products than I would have paid if I'd bought them individually.

I hope I'm on the list. I need a new a/c compressor belt. Then make sure it's tight. Yes, I'm going back to work.
-
I know how to do it, I'm just slightly unable to do it now because of the accident, but I will do it myself.

Is this still true? Well for now the 2012 paid dues? I need to order a new clutch petal and wanted to be sure before I ordered it and some other little items...
Thank you!

Jerry would have needed to send your information to them so they can put it into their files. Even with the list I sent and following updates, I have never gotten the discount. I spoke with Matt about it and he said once they put the info into the system, it was automatic. Check with 85GT, give him your mailing address and email so he can submit it. You would probably be more likely to get it if you ordered via phone.

Awesome! Thank you!

Is it really 10%, or was this old info?

A list of paid members with name and email address was supposed to be updated at the first of each year. My experience was that discount application was spotty. Sometimes I got it, sometimes I didn't. I think we quit sending the updated list.
Same with Advance Auto. Some stores refused to pull up our account and even when some did, there wasn't enough club usage to earn a discount. The more members purchase, the higher the % discount but it gets wiped clean monthly.
-
For NIFE, I only get 5%. So, I wondered if the percentage was correct.

I checked with TFS. The highest discount is 5%. All that needs to happen for the club to get the discount is for a club officer to call TFS. TFS then applies the discount to the accounts of the provided members. As long as the member uses that account, they should get the discount. It will show up in the cart.
Here's the catch. Create your account on the TFS site. No guest checkout. This is better, anyway, because you can see your order history, retain carts, etc.

I used to send an updated list each year, removing those who weren't paid members and adding any who were new. I don't know what TFS uses to apply the discount, whether it's the person's name or their address. Sometimes I got a discount, most times I didn't. Some others had indicated they got no discount, either. It's not something TFS must offer, so I don't fret about it. Most items I order would provide only a minimal dollar savings. They're generally items I can't get on the local market, so I'm glad to pay the price.

The discount applies only to their own parts--not to parts they resell that are otherwise available. If you have a TFS account, you can see the discount on parts in your cart.

I made an order last week and I was on the list for discount eligibility
-
Hi all,
Do wwe still get discounts at TFS?
-
Yes.

Yes. I had ordered cradle bushings from ProThane. They called and told me it would be 2-4 weeks for delivery. Then yesterday I called to check and they told me maybe another 6 weeks. I cancelled and called TFS and spoke with Dean. He took my order, and when giving me my total, mentioned my discount.
