Title: 86SE V6 Near Dalton
Post by: Fierofool on November 19, 2014, 10:37:38 pm
I became aware of this one today.  Spoke with the man and he says the car drives, but the front brake pistons are stuck and the brakes are dragging.

Yup.  The rest of it needs work.  Didn't see any engine pictures.

That's Keisha's (Miss Tress) old car.
Or if it's not, it missed a really good chance to be.

Edit - Yep. It is.
Check it out...

Wonder how it ended up in Tunnel Hill.  The current owner got it from someone up there.  Last time I knew the location of the car it was for sale in Eatonton, which is just south of where she lived at Reynolds Plantation on Lake Oconee.  It certainly looks like her car.  If it is, she built most of the car by herself.  I don't think Shorty was very mechanically adept.  Everything on it was top notch, including the engine.  Most items were donated by the PFF crowd after she lost her car in Katrina and they had to be airlifted off the roof of their home.

I can't see the dash very well, but if i recall when we were meeting at The Old Mill, they had installed some kind of video or gaming system in the dash.  Looks like most of the high end AV stuff has been stripped.
