Title: WTB: 4T60 Brackets
Post by: WV Mike on April 23, 2015, 03:45:10 pm
I'm looking for this bracket for the 4t60 tranny:

I've had no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm also looking for the Transmission to Engine bracket. I don't have a picture of it.

Mike, can you tell us what vehicles used the 4T60 and where the brackets or mounts are located?  Maybe some of us could locate them in the pullapart yard if they are more than 10 years old.

I've found thread on Pennocks. http://www.fiero.nl/cgi-bin/fiero/showThread.cgi?forum=Archive-000001&thread=20040223-2-042750

It shows some close up pictures. Don't know if this helps.

I'm reaching out to some salvage yards. Trying to get the parts ASAP, since I need these parts to finish the install. My Formula is in the shop waiting on me to get them. Any help is appreciated.

Try this website.   http://www.car-part.com/

It's what the junk yards use to locate parts that they don't have.  My neighbor works for a large yard in the Atlanta area and it's the site they use.

I've ordered some brackets. If they are the right ones, I'll post the part numbers for everyone in my other thread.

Did you order from the link above?  If you did, it would be good to know if they provided the right parts the first time.  If not for Fieros, it may come in handy for our other vehicles.

I have found that link to be quite useful. Found a 49K Fiero/Isuzu tranny, a few years back, for a project.

The part isn't from the link above. For the transmission mount bracket pictured in my original post, the GM part number 22145828.

And, for the transmission to engine bracket, I am able to use the original bracket taking my dremel to two of the corners to make it work. May need to use a few spacers to align; but, that should be fine.
