Mmmmkay.
I'm here, for a few minutes. I'm not gonna do screen caps, however. Gonna see what's new since I got home, and then probably go to bed.

Those were over the course of several months.

Just observice that it shows guests posting and daylight hours when even the robots aren't on.  Well, daylight hours in my time zone.

When it lists Guests down there, they're only viewing.  They can't post until logged in.  They could be a registered user that's not logged in, or just someone visiting and browsing through the threads.  I sometimes leave the forum up without logging in, just to monitor something I'm interested in.  That shows up at the bottom as one of the Guests.  Next time you find yourself as the only one on the forum, log out and you'll see that you show up as the only Guest, but in that mode you can't post.

I understand.  Look at the bottom 2 images.  I'm just reading what it shows.

How does a guest have an ”Unknown action”?

I'm just guessing but could it be that someone clicks on Message Board and just looks to see if there's anything new without logging in.  They'd show up as a guest, but there would be no action on their part.  I do that from time to time rather than log in.  I wait to see if there's anything new in a topic I'm interested in.

There are currently 8 people registering for an account.  Or, maybe they're robots.

I'm like Raydar.  I look without logging in, so I show up as one of the guests.  If I want to say something, or look at a link that's otherwise not visible without logging in, then I log in, say what I have to say or look at what I need to look at then log out.  Sometimes as a moderator I'm in other areas not visible to the average member.  Like sorting through all those members awaiting approval at the top left of the page.  Even though they may have been banned, they still show up there until TopNotch clears the list.

In general, I stay logged in on my primary device, but sometimes have posting issues, so have to log in on another device.  When I log out on there, it logs me out of my primary device.

I was looking for the "Cars For Sale" and can't find it on the home page or message board.  I know at one time we had such a section, but it got very stale because no one was posting their cars there.  Most were using The Market section.  BTW, I didn't see a link in the $1500 Fiero you posted about.

I checked out some other Fiero forums.  No one online, only 1 or 2 members posting, few recent posts.  I left.

My theory is that, if I'm logged in while browsing the site, it shows in the members online.  Guests can see how many users are logged on, and it makes the forum look more active.  It's much better to see X guests, Y users, than X+Y guests, 0 users.  I'm not hiding out.  Just my $.02.

She's 4ft 10, but she has a gun, a taser, a stiletto, and pepper spray, so be careful.
ps. I'm her husband, and I have a few guns, too.

As my mother says, good things come in small packages.  I  have no issue with GrannyLinda's font (not that it would matter if I did).  I thought it was something special that TopNotch set up for her, in the way of her own special font.  The rest of us will get bad eyesight reading the microprint on here!  Anyway, here we have been referring to GrannyLinda's font (face, size, color) as the GrannyLinda Option.  If you read her posts, the tone isn't yelling.  She does tend to be all business, though, so I thought it was cool that she took the time to post in a topic I started.  She's posted in topics I started several times, now.  Next goal is to make her laugh.

Dang.  You guys have been busy posting.  It took me a while to catch back up.

As I think on it, being 4' 10” probably has lots of benefits:
1. Not hitting your head or having to duck through doorways
2. Fitting in itty-bitty modern cars
3. Not having both your head and feet hang off the ends of the bed
4. Fitting in airplane seats
5. The toilet is the right height
6. The sofa isn't as hard to get out of
7.  Not having to bend as far to pick things up
8. Not being used as a beanpole, ladder, or extension to reach things
9. Not hitting your head on everything people hang from the ceiling
10. Not having to hunch over when boarding an airplane
11. Clothes actually fit
12. Chairs are the proper sitting height, rather than squatting height
13.  You don't have to bend over to see through the peep holes
14.  You don't have to bend down to press the buttons on the elevator
15. You don't have to bend down to check the notices
16. You don't have to bend down to use the ATM
17. You don't have to contort your body to use the biometric scanner
18. You fit in the go-karts
19. You can move around in the campers and conversion vans
20. You don't have to crawl around on your knees in the tent
21. You fit in the OTR truck bunks
22. Microwave carts are at the proper height
23. You fit in those table/chair torture contraptions
24. Your knees fit in the jury box
25. Canoes and kayacks are comfortable
26. You don't hit your knees on the bottom of the table
27. You can sit up on the bunkbed without hitting your head
28. When kneeling at church, your feet don't hit the kneeler behind you
29. The hymnal pockets are reachable without bending over
30.  You can rest your hands on the back of the pew in front of you
31. You don't have to duck your head to fit under the hotel shower head
32. You fit in the tub
33. You can get to the things in the cabinets, low drawers, etc, without having to sit down
34. Jumping-jacks aren't an ordeal
35. You can touch your feet and all those other folding exercises that are impossible to do when the lower part of your body is longer than the upper part
36. You can sit comfortably at the piano
37. The ironing board is at the right height
38. You can use the bottom of the fridge
39. You don't have to bend over to use the mic at the podium
40. You can sit in the back seat of a car

Just a few off the top of my head.  I'm sure there are many more.

It has been quiet.  I think it was the day before that there wasn't a single new posting and every time I had checked, no one was logged in.

I'm seeing some users online I haven't seen for a bit.  SRT6, HarryT, CowsPatoot, and fiero4.3.  There was a new user yesterday.  Good stuff.  I think I saw 45 on at once yesterday, but about 10 of those were users.

Today, I saw 16 guests, 2 users (1 hidden).  Interesting.

And I just approved 2 new forum members yesterday.

Some of those guests showing up may be from the Kappa Registry (Solstice/Sky) Registry or the Georgia Triumph Association.  I've been in contact with their up-front people about joining us for RFTH this year.  I do already have confirmation that some of the Kappa folks will be joining in.  Rather than having a lot of threads going on a lot of sites and having to duplicate or triplicate information, I just gave them a link to our RFTH information thread.  There are also a number of other Fiero Clubs that have links to us, too.

Currently there are 22 guests shown online.  I checked all areas that a guest can view to see where they are and only 17 of them show up.  I don't know where the other 5 are hiding.

I was just thinking about the invisible guests.  When you open any section or thread of the forum, at the top you can see who's viewing that particular section.  I went through each section, noted the guests viewing that board and I came up with less than what the home page said was present.  I think those invisible guests weren't viewing any one section but were looking at the overall home page of the message board.

I don't know if I'm here or not. I logged in 'Forever' but every time I go to the page it doesn't know who I am.
Who am I? Where am I? Why ain't I retired yet?

If you login Forever and don't click log out when you leave, you should be online when you return to the board.

You can always tell if you're here or not.  No matter where you go, just look around and there you are.

Wow!  54 people online today.  No posts, so I hope they found helpful information or amusing stories or something.  It doesn't seem as if they registered, although I've seen 10 or so people trying to register.

There's 106 sitting out there waiting for approval.  Many of those are from China, Russia, and other countries.  Many of them are from the same group, using various usernames but ending in the same last few letters like kew or dem, or they're from the same African nation.  I'm sure they can look at the forum, but without registering, they can't get much personal information unless someone posts their email address, home address, or phone number in a thread.

There are lots of people aware of us and read us without registering.  I've been talking to someone who's doing a 7730 upgrade.  He's been reading our threads, especially f85gtron's, and learning from our members.

I think I have figured out why we're getting such high guest counts on our board.  When those guest counts go up, we get snowed under with the bogus registrations.

I believe that includes all valid users that are registered, plus all those that are bogus, trying to gain access.
