Our December meeting and Christmas party will be on the 16th at 1:30, at the Galaxy Diner.
We ask all attending bring one wrapped white elephant gift to exchange, and one unwrapped toy for Toys For Tots.
If you bring a guest, have him/her bring a gift also, in order to not miss out on the fun.
-
Forgot to mention. The gifts should not cost more than $20-25. And it can be a gag gift.

In case you read this forum without logging on, or are a paid member, but somehow not on the paid member list....
Club officers will be appointed by the board at this meeting. If you would like to be a club officer (President, Vice President, or Secretary/Treasurer), please let us know. If you've never been one before, that's perfectly OK. Get your feet wet (but wipe them off before you get in your Fiero).

I Am Willing To Remain Sec/Tres.

Is there a chance the meeting tomorrow will be cancelled because of the weather? It's snowing pretty good here in Tucker. They are predicting icy roads tomorrow after the wet rods freeze tonight. Just curious. Michael
-
Nothing on the roads out here, yet but the grass is covered solid. Reports that Dave and Dewey are already getting a good load up their way. I think it's about the same out toward Raydar's way since it's moving up from that direction.
-
I'm downtown. Tammy said the street at our house is covered.
Some of my techs are reporting that it's a mess in NW GA. Lots of trees down and power out.
-
we`re covered up out here. hospice and caregivers didn`t show up at all today.
-
Likely won't get out of here. About an inch of snow and the roads are already icy. Temp is 32 and has been dropping.
-
Already have 4 inches of snow here, theyre calling for ice in the morning...... just a dusting my butt

Meh! You must be listening to that Canadian station again.
-
It aint looking good for me tomorrow.....
-
personally I don't see any issues.... but then again I consider 6" a dusting, my weather app indicates Atlanta will be 38 and sunny by 11:00am.
But don't let my disregard for safety influence you.
Stay safe my friend
Dave

Traffic on my local roads is down to 4WD's and larger trucks. Anyone for some drifting fun?
-
If you cancel, do you call the diner, and just figure visitors weren't going to go?
If the weather isn't good tomorrow, it may be a good idea to verify that the diner is open.
-
I aint worried about the snow Dave, its the ice and the idjits out there
-
A number of people have either said they're not coming, or are not sure. So let's postpone till next Saturday, the 16th. The long range forecast for then is 62 degrees.
-
I second that motion
-
I'll see you all on the 16th

With the low profile tires on the 86, I did donuts in my driveway and never got into the grass.
Saturday the 16th is good for us, too.
-
Do you need to let the diner know about the change?
-
Maria said it was taken care of last night.
-
Can events like this be moved on the calendar, once added?
-
Don't forget the meeting tomorrow.
-
I won't be able to make it tomorrow. Knee surgery late Thursday has taken me out of travelling for a while.
Merry Christmas to you all.
Keep Mel and Rob in your prayers.
-
Um, what happened to Mel? I saw Fierofool hadn't been on for a while.
I hope your knee heals soon.
-
We will be at the meeting today. Due to a minor incident, we will be running late. Please don't start the gift exchange til we get there.
-
So, how did the meeting go?

The meeting (and party) was good. Dave is president for next year, I'm VP, and Linda's still secretary/treasurer.
We had a new person come, Rick Moore, who joined the club. He said he had talked to another member before, but didn't know who.
-
Congrats to all the officers for 2017.
Great news about Rick. It's always good to have new members.
-
You da man Dave!
Welcome to the madness Rick!
-
My apologies for missing the meeting and party. I think this may be the first Christmas party we've missed. We had made our plans to be there.
Some of you know that Melanie's not doing well at the moment an I needed to stay with her. Glad you all enjoyed the meeting. Congratulations to the officers and directors of 2018.
-
no apology necessary Charlie we missed you, hope Melanie is feeling better.
-
Sorry we missed it. Tammy got out of bed, Saturday, and could barely put any weight on her knee. She iced it and "doctored" it all day. Seems to be better now, but it tends to act up on her, from time to time.
Congrats to all the officers, and a Merry Christmas to everyone.
Charlie, I hope Melanie feels better quickly. Prayers.
