The Market / 87 GT for sale AUTO car
« on: January 19, 2013, 10:56:54 pm »
I have an 87 GT auto car for sale.  Interior was restored a couple years ago and has leather, saddle colored seats.  Beautiful inside and the outside needs a good buffing for possibly paint.  Car runs and drives, although I have no driven it in about a year.  Headlights work and it starts up and runs fine.  Has a shade over 200k.  All original from what I can tell...  Needs a new home.  I was planning to SC swap it but I have too many other projects to do...  no need for another GT to go to waste.  $1500 takes it

Ill try to get some pics up

General Fiero Discussion / Fiero Tuning
« on: August 14, 2012, 12:38:52 am »
Hey guys, I wanted to get on and let everyone know that my garage now offers tuning for ANY year and ANY engine Fiero.  We have recently been able to FULLY TUNE the factory Fiero ECU's.  We also still offer the 7730 ECU swap for those interested.  We offer a full on base tune with some fueling and timing tweaks for $300 including all parts and labor.  These are FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE by customer request.  I still charge $500 for the full on 7730 swap.  This will have just a basic tune on it.  These are also FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE per customer request.  Prices for tuning are done as needed on each specific tune.  If you want more info or you are trying to figure out which setup works best for your car, feel free to contact me via email.  pilot_bandit@yahoo.com   We will work with you and you can simply mail me your ECU to be chipped and tuned.  (tuning only, I must have the car for the 7730 swap).

The Market / 1986 Fiero GT FOR SALE
« on: October 24, 2011, 01:24:09 pm »
As the title says, 86 GT 5 speed swap.  I believe this car was at one time an Auto car.  It has Mr. Mikes leather seats with speakers in the seats as well as at the rear window.  Power windows and locks, upgraded radio with a 89 GTA stereo WITH the steering wheel controls.  All function properly and sound great.  Has the original subwoofer and performance sound system.  The engine was said to have an upgraded cam and it does seem to run much stronger than my other stock 2.8 manual cars.  Has a mild but slightly lopey idle.  No leaks and no rust on the frame.  The passenger door has been hit before, this car was purchased this way.  The previous owner tried to patch the striker on with some metal and welding but didnt do a very good job.  Door shuts and opens fine and will not fly open but this will need to be patched a little nicer.  I do not have door lock keys for it nor a trunk key.  Ignition key is the original.  The windshield will need replacing but can be driven as is.  Will need an alignment due to replacing the front crossmember due to accident damage.  Frame is straight and not tweaked or anything.  The alignment is sighted in and can be driven as is.  This is a car that could be good for a project and needs some love.

Asking $1500.00

The Market / 1987 Fiero GT FOR SALE
« on: October 24, 2011, 01:12:25 pm »
Ive got my 87 up for sale.  2.8 4 speed (swapped out the 5 speed).  Power Windows, power mirrors, ac works, new clutch and flywheel, 108,xxx miles.  Engine is mechanically in good shape with no smoking and good oil pressure.  New oil pump installed when I swapped the clutch.  Car runs strong but tends to be a little cold natured.  Doesnt die or anything when its cold, just runs a little rough for about 2 or 3 minutes.  New EGR tube and solenoid and EGR valve.  Tune up with less than 10,000 miles on it.  The interior could use some love, the drivers seat has a few tears and the typical side bolster tear.  The passenger also has a tear in the seat and some wear on it.  The radio works occasionally but for the most part doesnt stay on long.  It will need a new one.  All the speakers work without issues and sound good.

Asking $3000.00

The car actually has these black 88 Formula wheels on it now.  Will be sold with them.

You can see some of the small paint blemishes but all in all the car is still beautiful and capable of being driven anytime to anywhere.

I have been trying to organize a club meet up here in Bristol Tn at the famous Thunder Valley quarter mile strip.  I was hoping maybe I could interest some of you in coming as well?  You don't have to run on the track, you can sit in the stands or in the pit area and check out a lot of very nice home made hot rods.  Its $5 dollars to watch and $10 dollars to run.  I'm kindof looking for some feedback as to when in june would be a good time for you guys?  Would any of you be interested?

Tech Tips, Tech Questions / Want 20 HP the cheap way?
« on: February 28, 2010, 04:26:03 pm »
I just rescently install a 1227730 ECM into my dads 85 GT Auto TTop car, this was probably the most gainful yet inexpensive swap done to the car to date.  I got the ECM, connectors, Ryan Gick's custom tune (Sinister Performance), knock sensor, Digital EGR and adaptor plate for the EGR for around 300 bucks.  If you know what youre doing when it comes to repinning the Fiero connectors, it should take you about 5 hours to repin and add on the extra hardware.  Ryan can reprogram the Mem-Cal for around 65 bucks shipping and all.  On a bone stock 2.8 V6 Fiero, this will gain you in the ballpark of 15-25 HP!  Not only do you get a gain in power, the driveability of the car becomes so much nicer.  In the Auto, you will notice the TCC is softer to engage, it doesnt just drop right in everytime you give steady throttle, it waits untill it sees your cruising steady.  With the use of a knock sensor, it runs a more aggressive timing curve and a better fuel curve under WOT.  The power band is strong all the way to 5800.  The 7730 refreshes 10x a sec as opposed to the Fieros 1 time every 1.5 sec.  This is good for Auto or Manual cars.  I am open to do these swaps for anyone at Robs shop.  Just contact him and If be happy to get the parts for you if you needed.

The Market / 3800 Series II Tuning
« on: August 04, 2009, 10:24:13 pm »
ETFC now has a full 3800 II computer programming ability.  If you have a 3800 II swap in mind, bring us the PCM.  We will tune it for max performance and max fuel econ.  Thus far, our 3800 SC II gets 32.13 MPG on average in distance highway and 22 in city.  Thats almost 6 points better than stock and with a 300+ HP engine!  We delete all problem DTC's that the Fiero cannot compensate for without any problems to the functionality of the engine.  We can delete rear O2 and all EVAP problems and set you up with manual OR auto transmission tune.  We can do stock with slight performance in mind or we can rock your car with the wildest tune for your wild mods.  (Will need the car for a custom tune).  Our base programming is $75.00 for tune and $150 if we supply you a tuned PCM.  If you already own a 3800 II swap, let us tune your PCM and give you the max performance of your series II.

William, from the east Tennessee Fiero Club is selling his 88 Fiero 2M4, around 100,000 miles, 5 speed car and good on gas.  Could use a little TLC on the outside and small tear in the drivers seat.  Car looks and runs good and has had a new fuel pump, filter, valve cover gasket, o2 sensor, and GT wheel put on it.  The wheels are from an 88 as well, Gold painted.  Asking 1800 OBO.
