A guy from Winder
« on: February 26, 2012, 06:21:22 pm »
While I was filling up my gas tank at Kroger's (Hamilton Mill/Ridge Rd.) a red pick up truck stopped next to me, looking at my car then looking at me and telling me he has the same car at home, a black 86SE. He was considering selling his car but after he saw mine with those cool rims (his words) on it he is gonna keep his car.
I gave him a card from our club, explained a few thing and he said he would check out our website.
Btw: his name was Bill.

Bill, if you're checking us out and need anything, there are at least 3 of us here in Barrow County to help you.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

BTW:
While I was down in Statesboro visiting Matt, he told me a man from Lawrenceville came and bought his 86FIFI. He also said this man's son has a gold 84 automatic almost entirely restored.
Anybody know of him?

There are 3 or 4 Fiero owners in Lawrenceville but all have ignored invitations to come to meetings.  I don't know of anyone there with a gold car, but if it's an 84, then it's a repaint.  That was an 86-87 only color.

Maybe they learned of his car from this forum and now they will visit with us.

You don't need an invite.  I think the only meeting you've missed was when you were in the hospital.

Speaking of Gwinnett Fiero's. Almost Every Day I pass a black SPort on Hwy 85 South. WE have passed each other multiple times and we even chaced each other once. I have no idea who it is.
