ECM Cross References.
« on: August 18, 2014, 12:26:59 pm »
Here are a couple of good sites for cross referencing ECM's as used in GM cars from 1982 to 1995.
Older generation ECM's such as used in V6 Fieros and non-DIS dukes.
Newer generation ECM's such as used in DIS dukes, and including the 7730 ECM.

They don't work for me, either.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

The sites are dead. They were last updated in 2000. I am attempting to download them from the internet "wayback machine" and host them on our site. It may take a little while.

I think Raydar had a listing of ECM's and the broadcast codes.  Maybe you can get that from him.

I'll have to find the link.
It did not include "aftermarket application" ECMs, like the 7730, however. Just stock.

I think I'm going to give up on trying to restore those sites. Too many of the schematic files are missing.

It seems I had saved all this stuff some time in the past before it was lost, and forgot about it
Well, here it is.
The Macintoch link at the bottom doesn't work. I'll remove it later.

The macintosh link is still there.

Here's another preserved website that's on our site. I don't even remember were the original site is, but you might find useful info here.
