1988 Black Formula F/S-----SOLD
« on: July 21, 2015, 12:42:40 pm »
This car has nice option list, Auto. trans., A/C, tilt, P/W, PDL, Cruise, Sun Roof, P/ Deck lid opener, AM/FM, CD, Radio. Car has had a lot of new parts in last year or so. Battery, Fuel Pump, Headliner, Full Major Tune Up, New Front Shocks, Brake Pads on Front, New Sway Bar End Links, Front,& Rear. If I was going to keep I would replace the tires, give it a good 4 wheel alignment and drive it. Its black with gray interior. This was one I bought from Don.
Email me at slowburn57@aol.com or call/text 404-310-6303 I can email/text pictures if serious or just come by my house in Powder Springs and have a look. Asking 1300.00 Thanks  Joe

Hey folks....Still have the 88 Formula for sale. Would make a good spring project for someone. I have both front brake calipers and new front brake lines.

I also am going to sell my 87 auto white duke coupe. It as a Toms digital dash. Only thing it needs is a headliner, could use a paint job, and a driver. It has a sunroof. Looking for 1500.00 OBO. If anyone is interested I'll get some pictures of it for them.

Thanks

Joe

Well just sold the Black Formula to Mat Smith from South Carolina. He already has one. He and his son are going to restore this one so they will each have one. Thanks to everyone who looked and visited about it. Mat said he would keep us updated on their progress.

Thanks for updating us, Joe.  Let them know about Georgia Fieros, since there is really no active club in NC or SC.

Well just sold the Black Formula...

Glad you found a home for it, Joe. I would have been all over it, but needed a manual.

Hope the new place is working out well, for y'all.

New owner here.  What a great guy.  I have been lurking on here for a while and finally got out his way to pick it up. Nice easy-going deal Car was exactly as described  :)  Can't wait to start working on her this weekend. I work in Savannah so I figure ya'll will let  me be part of the club :)

Hey Matt! Good luck with your new project. I know the car fairly well. It should provide an excellent foundation to build upon.
(I got your PM, too. Thanks!)

Please keep us posted.

We'd love to have you as a part of the club.  I know it's a few hours drive to our meetings, but it's only about half as far as our VP drives.  The bonus is that if you come straight up through Downtown Atlanta instead of taking the east side bypass, you get to enjoy the Atlanta 24 hour rush hour traffic.

Thanks for the warm welcome.  I got to ATL a few times a year so I'll have to see if there is a meeting I can make.  I'm in a busy season of life right now with 3 kiddos at home and 2 jobs but I love cars and especially Fieros.  I got the car some new shoes and cleaned of the dirt and it drives very good.  Better than expected.  But I had never driven an 88 with the new suspension yet.  I'll keep ya posted on my progress.

Sadly.  Only work to date was a 100% Deep Clean, Full filter and fluid change and a new set of nice rubber.  But at least she is back on the road getting driven :)  I'll hopefully be working on it more once my schools out.
