Turner and Son Auto
« on: August 03, 2017, 07:45:02 pm »
I was told by a fellow admiring my Fiero today that a complete, fairly good-looking Fiero is at:

Turner & Sons Auto Parts
851 GA-323, Gillsville, GA 30543
(706) 677-4945

They close at 5 and are not open weekends. I did not have the opportunity to call them before 5 today to inquire further.
He also mentioned that it may be soon parted out.
You can't fix stupid but, you can adjust it with a 2x4.

Can't judge a Fiero by the body.

I passed by there twice last week and didn't realize it was a business.  Just thought it was some dude that was trying to hold down the grass in his pasture.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

In my experience, parking a Fiero in grass or on dirt is cancer-causing.  Such Fieros seem to feel neglected and unloved, and they deteriorate rapidly.  Who would park a good car, or any car they cared for in the weeds?

Where's Gillsville and where is the Buss. Have to go to May'retta this morn. and today may be out of time. trying for the swap meet on Sat. I guess I can Look it up.

Is it Weired to enjoy searching for and then finding certain cars, just to look at them and see what others have done to them?

Gillsville is out in the middle nowhere northeast of Gainesville.

It's closer to Commerce, but out of Gainesville, take US 129 South, then left onto Hwy 323.

I just looked at the place on satellite imaging and it may not be sitting in the pasture.  The place is a lot bigger than you can see from the roadway.

Holy crap! Talk about a widely scattered yard.

Sorry.  I was referring to the ”fellow admiring [your] Fiero today that a complete, fairly good-looking Fiero” is to be found.  Unless it's a Fiero person, I wouldn't trust his evaluation.
