Shifting issues
« on: April 07, 2019, 07:45:17 pm »
Somewhere on here, I remember reading about some grinding or something from first to reverse, and about long shifts in some gears, and about weaker transmissions.  In fact, I thought I read about the first two earlier today.  The search engine here and on google turned up nothing.  I looked through my history.  Nothing.  Anyone know where these topics were?

The 84 4-speed is weaker than later 4-speeds, because the case is weaker. The Isuzu 5-speed is weaker than the Getrag 5-speed, because the gears inside are smaller.
The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play.
