It isn't stock.  It has a 95 Buick 3800 in it.

Was the fuel filter changed?  The car has been sitting for about 5 years.

2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Sorry, I guess I need to read the treads better, or quit posting.  I thought it was about  Fiero engine

Don't be sorry. Ask all the questions you can. The 3800 is a popular swap and chances are you'll run into one at some point ;)

I'm pretty sure I changed the fuel filter. I can peek under it and see if it looks new.

I'm back among the living I think. Now I understand how the flu is killing people!
I plan on being at the shop at 8 on Saturday.

I called his shop today and he was still closed.

If he's able to open up Saturday, I plan to be there around 9AM.  Maybe we could migrate up to Pat's and work on the 3800 if Mike's not up to opening up and Pat and Linda are Ok with that?

You rarely post, as it is.  I hope to read more from you.

Welcome back Mike! Glad to hear you're feeling better. :)

I talked with Michael about an hour ago, and he's still suffering.  He and his mechanic both have the flu so the shop has been closed down.  Michael said he's going to go back to work tomorrow, regardless, and is hoping his mechanic, who developed symptoms a day or two before Michael, will be able to return, also.

This is not a good thing, IMHO. The flu that is going around is killing people. I hope that Mike recovers, before he over-extends himself. (I still remember the "broken hand" thing.)

With that out of the way...
What time are people planning on showing up at Mike's. After an entire week of getting up at ~5 AM, I'm not the most energetic "morning person", by the time the weekend rolls around.

I wouldn't say that I over-extended myself. All I did was extend my hand toward a computer screen with sufficient velocity to cause the bone to break. I did over-extend didn't I?

Thought it was a shelf or alignment rack, or something.
I'm still happy that you are feeling better.
I'll try to be up there around 9 AM. At least it's not my usual "azz-crack of dawn".

Looking like I'm not going to be there in the morning. Maybe not all day.

This bug sure gets around!  Get well soon.

It's a little late, and not much could be done about it, but I'm counting those who will be there:
Mike
TopNotch
FieroFool
Dave?

Not that they aren't able to handle things on their own, but it'd be nice to see a few more people show up.  I don't recall seeing anyone else express intent.

Don't forget to take PICTURES!
