Email: mycorona@bellsouth.net I live in Atlanta,
GA and work in Sales and Marketing for an International Equipment Distributor.
I got hooked on Fiero's when I was leafing through a Car & Driver
magazine in '83 and read an article about Pontiac's latest mid-engine,
two-seater prototype, at that time named Pontiac Sunfire. As I read
about the space frame technology, enduraflex, fiberglass composite panels
mounted on a drivable chassis of a two-seater mid-engine sports car,
that was enough for me. I was hooked on Fiero's from that point forward. Over the years I've added factory cruise control and power mirrors acquired from less fortunate Fiero's found in the local bone yards. During a 3-day weekend in '93 I swapped the original V6-4Spd power train for the current V6-Auto donated by a low-mileage maroon '86 GT that didn't see the tree coming. Well, that was the story I heard. In June of '99 I stripped 80% of the body panels from its space frame and installed a PISA "Artero" fiberglass body kit. Since this Fiero is still my daily driver and the only other source of transportation I have is a motorcycle, I scheduled a two week vacation to install the kit, was ready for paint in two weeks, and driving within a month. Since completion of the rebody, I've attended a few car shows and won a few awards. See the "Artero Project" within the Georgia Fiero Club site.
