    Will work on the Fiero

I just got back from a quick oil change in Loganville at the Quick Change hickey place by Dairy Queen, and the owner knows Fiero's and has a mechanic that will do just about anything to them.  Hum, axle seals.........yup.

Got Mobile One 10W 30 put in her (full synthetic) and she is a hummin'!

T.J.'s custom muffle is gonna install a Flowmaster next week so I can at least compete for sound with you guys.  Wish the Atlanta Parade would work out, but I have to work, unless I get sick!?

On the muffler, he said around $150 for a one in two out jobber.  How does that sound?

Take care and I will try not to flood the page, just enjoying talking to myself while I type!

Good to hear that.  Try to find out what their hourly rates are.  Whether they do it at the Jiffy Lube, or on the side in their own shop.

BTW, coming to the meeting today?  1:30 at the Olde Mill Steakhouse, Savoy Drive.

Re: Will work on the Fiero

There's a guy in Sandy Springs who will work on Fieros. His name's Eddie, I forget the name of his place, I think its right by the intersection of Roswell Rd. and Mt. Vernon. Its a "hole-in-the-wall", he normally has his lot full of police cars he works on, but he'll work on any car if you bring it to him early enough in the morning. He'll even do performance work, he put on my kit for my Z24 brakes on my '86.

I also had decent luck with the Big10Tires right there at Roswell Rd. and Hammond Dr. They'd only do back-to-stock work though, and they wouldn't touch the sparkplugs on the V6 without tilting the engine.

    Nathan:

We're beginning to find lots of people who will work on the Fieros.  Could you set up a Fiero Service Vendor tab on the website?  Anyone encountering a qualified, reasonably priced person or company that will do engine, tuneup, upholstery, or any work on a Fiero could submit the info and let you put the info up.  You could put the company name, location, contact person, scope of work, and contact info.  No need to elaborate beyond that.

    Great idea Charlie.

The Express Lube in Loganville does the work in the shop and Jeff at Long Pro in Loganville can do anything in his shop.

Can't make the meeting as I just got back from soccer in Athens.  My son is on a traveling team, and, you guessed it, the Fiero leads the way to the games of "car-pooling" people.  Oh yea, a Lotus zipped out right beside me today on 78 east of Monroe.   This one looked almost identical to the lines of the Fiero.  He stayed along side me for a little while then punched it.  Of course, I was leading the way for kids so I could not open her up, but .....................

I will try to catch the next meeting.
