St. Patricks Parade March 17-Club Event-Participants Wanted

The Georgia Fiero Club has again been invited to the Atlanta St. Patricks Day Parade.  The cutoff date is March 1, but I need to know who wants to drive in the parade, before February 24 so I can get the application submitted, along with the necessary paperwork.  The car doesn't have to be in showroom condition, just has to shine up well and look good from the outside.  We can hide some blemishes with decorations.  You don't need to be from Georgia, or be a club member to join with us.  Last year, we had about a dozen cars.  Lets do more this year.

Also, this year, it is mandatory that we have someone carrying a banner.  We need a couple of young ladies to do this for us.  Anyone know of someone who will do this let me know.

I will be the contact person for this event.

I have a change in the above post.  Steve Hamilton (Raydar) has agreed to take the lead on the St. Pat's Parade.  He will be your contact person.  Please get your information to him before the 24th so I can get the entry form submitted.

Right now there are only 3 cars entered.  Jack Cooke, Steve, and Ron Rizzi is a tentative, due to family illness.  I dont really want to do it with less than 10 cars.

Didn't I read on here somewhere that a lot of the GFC members said they wanted to do more things this year, that they wanted to participate or do something every month? Well? Charlie has been putting together things to do every month. And this month he has Raydar to help. It's your club, you going to help your club or not? Hey Raydar, count me in, I joined the club this year with plans to join in when I can and I have my own club to operate and the parade falls on our regular meeting day, but my vice president does a great job and can handle the meeting. So I'm going to drive about 4 1/2 to 5 hours one way to help the club. Anybody else going to join me?
