You taking your dog? I sure would like to see it again. Does she still take over the chair? I'll be getting me a smoking room. See you all there, tell Carolyn, Rob says hi.

Hell , I live in the "animal house" , , but the only lower rate she offered was for the stinky rooms. I'm used to my house , but a strange room brings strange smells.

Course , you don't know who's been sleeping in your bed either , lol. That's why Carolyn prefers our camper  when it's convenient.

Rob , nope , not taking the dog , not room enough in a Fiero for the three of us. And you know how she likes taking over the seat .

Re: Seventh Annual Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge

We've stayed there before with our dogs.  The pet friendly floor is the top floor, if I remember.  They're confined to only 1 floor.  As for smoking, it's possible that someone would smoke in any room.

Re: Seventh Annual Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge

The organizers of the show has only 1 Fiero registered for the show.  They will not produce trophies for a Fiero Class unless they know how many Fieros will be entered.  That means that you will be competing against Compacts and Intermediates of all years.  Please print the entry form below and mail it with your entry fee this week so they will have a class just for Fieros.  Or you might try calling them and giving them your credit card info and registration info.  The ETFC has already infomed them of how many cars they believe will be entering, but it's not solid until they receive your entry.

Re: Seventh Annual Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge

    Hello,

Johnnie and I will not be able to leave until the evening of the 1st, due to work schedule for her.  Being a teacher, it's my first day of summer, so .................
Anyway,  if we leave at say 4:00, will that be okay?  Show or no show?  WE entered last Saturday, so if there is time and they won't mind us not getting there until night on the 1st, we will enter Saturday AM, or we could always just hang around with everyone.  What do you think, and when are you heading up from Auburn?

    Thanks,

    Conrad

I feel bad about entering with some things not finished, but the car looks pretty good from the outside. : )

Re: Seventh Annual Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge

The judging is actually on Saturday.  If you get there Friday night, you'll still make the competition.  We're leaving from Auburn on Friday morning.  Probably about 10-11 or so.  Depends upon who wants to drive along.  That will give us time to get there, do any touchup needed on the cars, and rest a little.

Re: Seventh Annual Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge

The organizers of the show has only 1 Fiero registered for the show.

That would be mine, I think. I already sent in my registration.

Re: Seventh Annual Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge

Ok.  My wife can not leave until noon from 124 in Snellville.  We will try to catch you and keep in touch by phone.  Gonna try to rebuild my headlight motors this week   Got the kit, so how hard is it?
    Any suggestions appreciated.

Re: Seventh Annual Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge

Ok Mr. Auburn Fiero, change in plans.

I have to take the Porsche to a show in NC on June 22, so the wife suggested that I just cruise up with you guys on June 1st in the AM.  I will stay overnight and hang out and see everyone, then head back Saturday evening.  Just going for fun and saving the show for later in June.
Anyone else just going and not showing?
So, that's my plan and I'm sticking to it!

    See ya,

Re: Seventh Annual Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge

I'm driving up, but not showing a car.  Just going up for the support and fun.  Thought about not going at all because of all those twisty roads.

Re: Seventh Annual Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge

Twisty roads sound like fun!  Apparently my GT, according to my nephew who sold me the car, is set up for auto-cross, as his wife is the racer, so .........................
I just drive slow, but it is hard to keep up with my wife when she drives it and I follow her in the Porsche!  I was kind of shocked,
Anyway, hope others will link up.  Would be fun to have a group together.

Re: Seventh Annual Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge

We're putting together a caravan to leave on Friday morning, June 1.  We'll be meeting up at the QT on Hwy 53, Mundy Mill Road, at I-985 near Gainesville.  It's the Oakwood Exit.  The QT is just up the hill from I-985 when you exit.

We should pull out between 10 and 10:30 after we all tank up there.  Should put us up to about Clayton for lunch, or we could continue on to Cherokee before we eat.

Conrad, you and Johnnie could link up with me and Peter here in Auburn if you'd like.

Re: Seventh Annual Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge and Flow Master question, again.

Thanks!  Auburn sounds good to me.  Johnnie won't be going.  She has to work and is saving her time for the 22nd of June, when we take the cars to Fontana, NC for an outing with the GTA.  I will have to come back Saturday PM for work on Sunday, but look forward to the fun.

    Thanks,

    Conrad

Tried to make the meeting today but could not get finished working on a main generator on a locomotive in time.  Next month!

    Flowmaster question:

Sorry to bother again, but I have an ocelot on there now.  Guess I had better measure if it is a 2", 2.5", or 2.25" pipe.  Does it make that much difference and should I just go with the 2.5 and strectch the pipe if I need to?
