    Fiero/Solstice/Sky Fun Run

On March 22, Fieros, Solstices, and Skys will unite at the McDonalds in Dawsonville, at the Intersection of Georgia Highways 400 and 53.  We should arrive by 8AM, hold our drivers' meeting, and depart by 9AM.  We will enjoy one another's company during a drive through the mountains of North Georgia and Tennessee, stopping for lunch in Tennessee, then returning via a different route to Dawsonville.  The route should bring us back to Dawsonville before dark.

The Peach State Kappa Club posted this announcement to their website this morning and they already have 10 participants signed up.  We're hosting the event, so let's don't be outnumbered by our guests.  Sign up on this thread.

I hope to have my pink car by then, or actually, Johnnie does.  Never seen a pink car with a 4.9 before!

    Re: Fiero/Solstice/Sky Fun Run

Hello Ronnie.  Actually, I am looking at a car with the 4.9 in it.  Charlie set me up with a contact on the pink car, and I was out-bid on ebay, but might have a chance to get it again for Johnnie, of course.  I had to wear the fake beard and glasses when I drove her pink beetle (72), but she likes it, so it's all good.
Anyway, not in a hurry, just having fun.

I will wait to put a motor in the 88, until I check yours out, if ok with you.  I have gotten a quote for a new 3.4 on a crate put in, but weighing my options right now.  Also, someone else has a 3800 he told me about, and my nephew has an LS2 he said they could put in at his racing shop. Don't know how that would work? New car or motor? Hum.......
Also, Johnnie and I will be taking a cross country venture when I retire next June, and I am going to get a Jeep Wrangler for that trip, so I am probably going to sell some of my stuff, or shall we say, have to sell some of my stuff.

I checked on the Circus, and they are very tight on tickets.  Employees can only get them for the employee night preview.  Sorry.

Well, that's all for now.  We will be in Atlanta with the 86 "Black Hawk" and the 88 Fastback for the parade.

    Take care,

    C and J in Loganville

As of right now, I have nothing planned then, so I'll probably be there.
