Barring anything unforseen, I'll be there.

    Re: Fiero/Solstice/Sky Fun Run

    Yes it is the 22nd.

And it's Easter weekend............Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

If you can't make it we understand. Our kids are past the Easter Bunny, even Spring clothes...they can't wait to head to college....so that Saturday is not a problem for us and hopefully no one else either.

Our kids have decided to let us enjoy the Sky Run this year. So thanks Buddy and Lady Bug. Now that I've got this bumped back to the top lets get this thing going.

    Re: Fiero/Solstice/Sky Fun Run

Last count for the Kappa Club was about 25 cars.  Some coming from North and South Carolina, and down Macon way.  I believe they also said someone was coming from up Kentucky or Arkansas way.

Yeah, but people are dropping out because Fiero racing gas is too high, it's too far to drive, they have to get up too early, etc, etc.

    Re: Fiero/Solstice/Sky Fun Run

I know what they mean, it cost me 3.15 for racing gas and cost 3.15 for everyday driving, but I get the same gas milage. And besides I have to leave here at about 5:00 am in order to be down there and start out with everybody at 8 or 9. But who cares, it will be the last get together for a run of fun until the RFTH's.

I enjoy getting together with other Fiero nuts and running the roads at speeds most other cars can't handle. Plus when you drive through small towns you get to show off your ride. Watch the people stare at your almost antique car, that can out drive most of the newer cars today.

So if it cost me $4.00 a gallon and I have to get up at midnight and drive 200 miles just to be with my friends, count me in.

I just looked at the calender and realized Easter is this weekend. But you know what? It's on Sunday not Saturday, that means I can still go.Big Smile [:D]

You know, it takes a special person to own a Fiero. They have to be commited to the cars history and future. You have to be in a club if your planning on keeping the car and enjoying it. You have to be able to cut loose at a weeks notice to drive your Fiero with your friends with Fiero's. You have to be proud of your Fiero and thrive on getting out and showing it off. And if your not a mechanic when you buy the car, you will be before your next Fiero. And if you own 1 Fiero and can afford it, you'll buy another one.

    Re: Fiero/Solstice/Sky Fun Run

I probably could trade all three for one Audi TT but then the engine would be in the front and people will ask if it is in the back just like a VW. And then there are all those special tools and whoops it is a VW.

Weather Looks Good For Saturday's Fun Run

So far the Weather Channel says Sunny to Partly Cloudy and maybe 70 degrees for Saturday's Fun Run.

So let's keep our fingers crossed!
