Re: Saturday's Fun Run - Route Map & Info

Yes Nathan, you are selfish and self serving, and frankly, you of all, people don't have the right to be selfish.  You live 10 miles from the Galaxy Diner.  You live the closest than all of us.  I am not as courteous and polite as others on this forum are, and if you beleive those other clubs you have joined will work around your schedule, you have another lesson to learn.  Frankly, I have hope for you.  I beleive you will see the light.  But you'll have to pull your head out of your a-s to do so.  GROW UP!

And just for reference to anybody who reads this:  I don't deal well with people who are more a part of the problem than the solotion.  If you don't go to meetings, then quit your b-tch--g.  It gets old.

Re: Saturday's Fun Run - Route Map & Info

I live a good 30 miles from the Galaxy Diner. 60 miles round trip. I do not live close, I live all the way up in Kennesaw.

And when I'm supposed to be stretching a full tank of gas 2 weeks, going down there and back takes a whole 1/2 tank of gas. I don't have the money for that.

I used to go to meetings but they're a complete waste of time. Any ideas that I had were never considered at all.

I also haven't joined any other clubs, and I don't have any plans to.

I also don't think its too much to ask for the club to change a little bit if I try to have some input with the club. An individual should be able to influence the club as a whole. If this club is so set in stone that only a few priveledged members have the right to propose any changes without getting shoved to the side, I don't want to be a part of it.

Re: Saturday's Fun Run - Route Map & Info

    Hi !
Nathan, I have never replied to anything on this list but I feel the time has come.  We all are feeling your pain over the price of gas.  As far as I know their is nothing set in stone as to where we have our meetings.  Do you have any suggestions for a meeting place?
Also maybe we could have a later starting run to Blairsville or Tallulah Falls.
Everybody's  opinion should be important and listened to.

Re: Saturday's Fun Run - Route Map & Info

During the Fun Run, I filmed about 2 1/2 hours of film.  It will be edited down and transferred to a DVD.  If anyone is interested in a copy, they are $12.  After Pat deducts his expenses, the rest of the money will go to the club treasury.  If you'd like a copy, reply to this thread.

    Thanks
    Charlie

Re: Saturday's Fun Run - Route Map & Info

Well, Charlie and I live further away than that.  using your rationale, we need to have the meeting in Lawrenceville or Winder...to accomodate our needs, don't you think?  You don't have money for gas to Galaxy, but you have money to do the road trips with the other auto clubSleep [S] you are a part of, correct?
