    good fiero mechanic

Hi Guys, Im a new member, live in Mableton, and own a red 88GT. I have owned the car since I bought it from the original owner in 1989. I have only driven the car a couple of hundred miles per year but have decided to start using it as my regular transportation. It has 17,000 miles and is totally original except for the battery. It has a few "bugs" I want to iron out before I start driving it full time. Do you guys know a good "Fiero Guy" I could entrust my toy to? I really appreciate the help and hope to meet some of you soon. Thanks, Jim 678-361-8300.

    Re: good fiero mechanic

Robbie has worked on all my Fieros.  It's about a 3 hour drive for me, but I've made that drive several times.

If you have something that can't wait that long, or you don't want to make that drive, there's another of our club mechanics that lives out in Douglasville, off Chapel Hill Road.  Name's Don Hulse.

Were you the 88GT getting the emissions check on Austell Road near South Cobb HS on March 19?  I spotted one in the bay and started to go back, but my wife wouldn't let me.  Said we were late for our daughter's wedding.  Some women just don't know what's important.

Don's a good one now. I'll recommend him to anybody. It just depends on how far your willing to drive and how quick you need it done.

Rob is going to change out my dash, put new struts on, change the shifter solenoid, and in addition, he is going to figure out a way to put a Z06 motor in my Porsche 914 that has a new rear end!  Rob, you got any slightly smaller motors that will sound good that you can put in?  Research man, research!  This could be a real fun little car!Surprise [:O]
