    ETFC Fall Cruise

Our cruise will be held on Nov. 4 and we'll be meeting at the hwy. 64 & 411 junction. We will meet at 8:00 am. There's a Hardee's there so we can meet and have breakfast. The cruise will start by traveling on 64 East until we get to hwy. 19 where we'll turn right onto 19. Then onto hwy. 9 then onto 52 W. traveling back to hwy 411 N.. The Georgia Club will be joining us for this short cruise. There will be no hurry on this cruise just stopping to eat here and there and enjoy the fall colors. We haven't picked out a place to stop for lunch, so we'll just play it by ear. We don't know where the gas stations are, so I'm going to take some tow-ropes incase someone needs a tow to a station to get gas. Laughing Just kidding. If you can make it let me know or let CHarlie know.

    Re: ETFC Fall Cruise

I plan on being there.  I've been all through that area, and it's really beautiful.  Nice roads, too.  Colors should be at their peak about then, too.  Some of that area is along the river where the 96 Summer Olympics was held.  Beautiful winding drive along the river and rapids.  Hope some of the Georgia Gang will come out and join in.

Who are you?  Were you already included?  Do I need to remove a car from the count?

Looks like we might just have a long string of Fiero's, not to mention a great time, and alot of fall colors.

    Re: ETFC Fall Cruise

I won't be coming along, but good luck. I just got my '86 SE back on the road tonight (I'll be bringing the old waterpump with the plastic impeller to the next meeting as a "warning" to others of what a bad pump can do). Although I might like to go up and enjoy the colors, I think my Fieros have had enough romping through distance mountains for this year, lol.

I'll be putting this run up on the events page.

Charlie, I'll be there at the Auburnfest tomorrow. I just hope I don't get lost, heh.

    Re: ETFC Fall Cruise

The ETFC Fall Cruise is just 2 weeks away.  I was up there yesterday, Oct. 23, already doing some scouting for the next RFTH, and found some beautiful roads and scenery.

But, this cruise isn't about going breakneck through the mountains.  It's about FieroFolk getting out for a good day of comradery and just enjoying the sights, and there are some very beautiful sights.  Colors are starting to come into full display.

The ETFC is a regular participant in the Georgia Fiero events.  Come on out and reciprocate.  Sign up on this forum thread.

    Re: ETFC Fall Cruise

I'm hoping to let people know that just because we have sports car, doesn't mean that we can't get out in a group and just enjoy the drive and the change of seasons. We're going to take it easy and there's no hurry getting anywhere, if someone wants to stop and enjoy the view or maybe even wade in the river then that's fine. They have trail to walk on and old country resturants. It's just a day to get out and relax with your friends and other people in Fiero's.

    Re: ETFC Fall Cruise

In order to make it easier for the GFC to get up here, we've changed the meet time from 8:00 am to 10:00 am., I hope that works out a little better for everyone. And I'm thinking of changing the route just a little, I think you will enjoy it more. See you all then.

    Re: ETFC Fall Cruise

Mel and I will be there.  The Ga. Club has a new member from Blairesville.  He was at the Augusta meet Saturday and said he will be there.  I asked MissTress007.  She said she'd check her schedule and let me know.  Mike, bring Theresa along, too.
