I drive that route every day from dawsonville to alpharetta and saw no roadwork other then the bridge work at exit 13 that has been on going.
Unless something is planned for nights or weekends, i would think anyone driving it on friday aft would see the normal traffic..which for everyones's information is pretty heavy on N 400 all the way to exit 15 from 3pm until 630 or so.
