Maybe somewhere like this.  3,300 acres of wilderness.

We're several hundred feet above the valley floor.  About a 3-hour drive from here.  Nice hike.

On the way, I passed Eldorado and Equality.  They love their cities, over there.

Is that in Missouri?  I never thought of it as having landscape like that.  Looks like the kids are enjoying themselves.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

The kids were happy...until it came time to leave.

That's in Illinois.  Shawnee National Park.  Missouri has somewhat similar landscape, on a lesser scale.  Elephant Rock.  Also, on the Trail of Tears, down by Cape, there is a similar thing.  Also in St. Charles, on the Lewis & Clark trail, there is a similar thing.  The kids haven't been on the one near Cape.

We didn't find Squatch.  Lots of impressions, though.

Yep.  Very small.  While on other continents, I've met people who live within an hour of where I live in the US.  We met at random places: beach,, restaurant, flower shop.  I've never seen them in the US.

I'm guessing you know where those pics were taken, then.

6 degrees of Seperation, everyone knows someone that knows you through  someone else.
Funny you say that about the mountain people what with the recent Sightings and all.
 I belive!
I also belive there were a race of Very large people "Giants" that were wiped out by the Indians less than a couple centeries ago. the Plains indians or something have Stories about it.

There was an old lady I used to know that found a place with huge human-like skulls.  These were reported to the authorities and vanished without a trace.

There was a theory that long ago angels procreated with humans and had offspring.  No way to prove or disprove.

We were just having fun.

Not only were skulls found but large leg bones that at over three foot long shin and upper leg bones also, the people were likely 8-9 ft.tall. the story was they were totally Docile and the indians just stood in front of the caves and killed them as they came out.

but who was having the fun the humans or the Angels,    Wasn't that a movie ?

The angels.  The story goes that God then banned the angels from Earth.

We're probably offending or triggering at least half of the readers.
