When you get your wheels balanced, where do you have them place the weights?

On my stock rims they are clipped on the outside and inside lips.  On my custom wheels they are stick-ons  placed on the flat surfaces behind the spokes.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

I don't like to see wheel weights on alloy wheels.  I think they should be on the inside only.

On steel wheels, I guess I don't care.
