Uh-Oh!  What happened?  That will be expensive to ship and unless boxed, it would probably arrive damaged.  At a minimum, the paint would have spider cracks requiring it to be completely sanded down to repaint.

3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

If you mean the little "Pontiac" on the back bumper of an 88, the Fiero store sells those. I just got one for my silver Formula, and it looks very nice.

I must have gone blind before I finished reading the title.  Absolutely never saw the word LOGO.

When I had my Formula painted, the shop broke my old Pontiac logo removing it from the car. I glued it back together and re-painted the tops of the letters, but it never looked very good. So I bought a new one from the Fiero Store. The tops of the letters are chrome. What looks like imperfections in the chrome in this picture are just reflections.

I decided to wait on an updated chip that someone here is going to send me. If that takes care of the rough idle issue, we will hang on to the car. Also still waiting to hear back from the owner of the "Phoenix", as I'm still really interested it bringing it over here to Germany.
BTW: I might be making a trip to the ATL area, to go to the VA Medical Center, as some laws have changed for disabled vets (access to military bases and PX/Commissary privleges), so I need a new Vet ID Card.
I'll update as soon as I know more.

I have sent him an email about coming to take a look at the car.  Waiting on a reply.

Received the updated chip.........however.......Check Wallet Light stays on constantly (sounds like it is permanently in diagnostics mode), fan runs permanentyl, high RPMs, regardless if warm or cold, extremely smells like unburnt gas and extreme low gas mileage. Will revert to old chip, even though the original symptom is gone (hunting idle) and it shifts really smooth.
Can't pull error codes, as Check Engine Soon light will not go out.

Too bad. :-(

Don't you have the reader from Oliver?

Sounds like a bad chip.

Holy smokes!
If you haven't done so, check all your pins and make sure none are bent.  Make sure the notch on the end of the chip matches the notch on the carrier. (I'm sure you've already done this, but I would be remiss if I didn't mention it.)
I'll burn another one from the same file, and plug it into my car. Even though mine is a manual, it ought to run the car, without complaining. At least temporarily. (Going to take me a while. All my stuff is packed up. We're in the middle of moving.)

No worries Steve. I've got time. We won't be driving the car (or plan to drive it) until the new "Classic Car" season starts again. In the meantime I'll put the original chip back in this weekend...........and yes, I did check everything and made sure it was installed correctly. :-)
