How many pounds was your turkey?

I'll start.  Mine is a whopping 29 pounds.  It was the largest I could find, and a pain to fit in the oven.  2 smaller birds would have been better, if I had 2 ovens.

Melissa's working today, Tonys will likely be called out on a flight and the rest of our families have other plans.  No turkey for us.  We plan to have some chicken and other Thanksgiving trimmings tonight when Melissa gets home.  Probably just Melissa, Tegan and me.  Even so, its much more than many have and I'm thankful.

There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Being with family is more important than turkey, anyway.  There will be 29 of us, this year.

I'm going to my daughter's house in a little while for turkey. I don't know how big her turkey is.
