Roger Newton's Father
« on: January 25, 2017, 11:02:21 pm »
Roger Newton's Father passed today.  He had been ill for a while.  There will not be a local service, but viewing will be Friday between 2 and 4 PM in Braselton.  He will be interred in Arlington National Cemetery.  Mr. Newton was a 22 year Career Marine.  Semper Fidelis.

I will post details of the funeral home and address as soon as I hear more from Roger.  In lieu of flowers, they ask that donations be made in his honor.  I will also post that info as soon as I have the info.  It is an American Legion or VFW post.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Viewing is at Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA 30548.  Friday between 2 and 4 PM.

Directions:
Northbound I-85, take Exit 129, Ga. Hwy 53.  Turn right going South on Hwy 53.
Proceed through downtown Braselton and shortly you will see a ball field on your right.
Just past the ball fields, the funeral home is on the left.  If you miss it, you can turn left at the Hoschton Post Office and come in the side entrance.

Thanks y'all.

He wouldn't admit it but I think he liked my 'little yellow car'. He just wasn't able to get out of it if he got in.
You can't fix stupid but, you can adjust it with a 2x4.
