I always watch the weather closely approaching RFTH.  I was concerned last week with all the disturbances in the Atlantic and Gulf, but they're currently forcasting 75-80 and sunny for the 3 days of the event.  That's for the Atlanta area, so it will probably be more like 70-75 in our venue.

The weather outside is crummy now, but is supposed to be nice this weekend. A bit cool, so bring a jacket for the evenings.

I just received my test results and it was positive for Covid-19.  So, I will not be attending RFTH 26. 

Pat will bring the route sheets and Tshirts.  Gabe will lead the pack on the Primary Route and Ralph will lead the pack on the Sightseers Route.

Thank you.  It's very much like a head cold.  Nothing in the chest, no fever, no headache, still have my taste.  Haven't had a good sense of smell for 20 or more years due to working in the printing and sign industry.  Lots of volatile odors there.

Thanks, Scott.  Did my grocery shopping Sunday morning since church was closed.  Got tested Sunday afternoon.  I was almost out of the one dog food my dogs can eat and on a good day I have to visit up to 5 Dollar General stores to find any.  I found one store this morning online that had some in stock and sent my daughter.  She bought all 15 cans, so that should easily get me through quarantine.  Steaks, chops, burgers, spaghetti, cereal, sandwich stuff all stocked up.

For those that ordered event tshirts, Pat (Topnotch) will have them.  He's the guy with the long braided pony tail. 

Everyone be sure to get your route sheet as soon as you arrive, fill out and return the registration form so we have emergency info and a headcount for our restaurant seating.  We must notify the restaurants before departing Saturday morning. 

If you arrive Friday, do a final check of your car's fluids and tire pressures.  Be sure your fuel tank is full.  There are 2 stations adjacent to the hotel in Clayton.  The Ingles station will probably be the cheapest. 

Be Safe.  Enjoy.  The team put a lot into planning this run for you.

Thanks for all the work, Charles. This is one of the highlight events of my year, and all the effort is appreciated.
Hopefully your case won't be too bad. I've had it twice. First time was just like a chest cold, with only a few hours of fever in a week. Second time it hit me like a brick and put me in bed for 2 weeks with lots of lingering effects.
