Holidays are tough. This is my cry for help!
« on: December 16, 2016, 11:37:44 am »
I'm sick. I need help!
With the holidays fast approaching, I should be thinking of sugar plums dancing in my head and egg nog and what to get that special someone, but I'm not.
ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT IS THE NEXT TIME I CAN TURN THE KEY AND DRIVE MY FIERO!
See?  I told you. Sick.
How do I cope with such feelings?
What's wrong (right) with me?
Do we need 12 steps for this?

My wife won't ride in it. It's "the other woman" ;)

12 steps?  You are sick.  I keep mine less than 3 steps away.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

It's not a sickness, but a joy you want to share with others.

Provide Fieros for Family and Friends.  They're the perfect gift.  Useful, and they don't take up much space.

And when they are taking up space you can store things in them and on them.

I'm sans Fiero for a few months, so don't rub it in.

I have extras in the driveway. You're welcome to one. Just bring it back fixed!

Ha, ha.  You don't want your Fiero in all the salt up here.  That's why mine isn't here.  It's too cold to work on them, too.  I replaced the front bushings, a half-shaft, and the front tires on my ATV.  Not long, but at 7 degrees, it was long enough.

The Mississippi was frozen across when I drove over it on Sunday.  I mean, drove over, as in I was on a bridge far above.  The Missouri was flowing, though.  We picked up milk from the store, put it in the trunk and drove home, and had ice in the milk.  Not solidly frozen, but chunks of ice.  If I left my Fiero in the dtiveway, by Spring it would be undriveable.

I did miss my Fiero on the nice Fall days, and some nice days last month, but will pick it up in the Spring.
