« on: September 05, 2008, 06:42:19 am »
Hey all!

Found a fun spot on the web that does quality FAUX license plates!

http://victorydyo.com/dyo2/index.php?SitePage=templates&p=105&dps=421&sid=6&d=96

Here's what the one I ordered for shows for the 1984 looks like!

There was a CNN spot on the plates and a few folks actually got parking tickets in states that they did not live in! People would put them on their car at an event, park illegally and traffic officers would mistakenly use the vanity tag line! Those that had the REAL tag got a summons in the mail!

They are great fun for car shows though!

Apparently, no more state plates.

They're still in there, buried in "auto accessories". Unless I'm missing something.

Hmmm.  The search didn't find them for me, but yes, they seem to be there.  No choice of state, but I guess you either provide the artwork or specify a state in the description.
