Spoiler gaskets!

Dunno if anyone else happened to notice or not...
TFS has them.

Maybe I missed the email, or didn't read it very well.

I think they've offered them from time to time.  Best way to install them is to put them into warm water and stretch them over the base of the stand so that the lip doesn't get folded underneath.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

I still have some stock gaskets.  A while back, I had someone look into reproducing them, using mine as a template, but needed a bunch of orders.

I forgot TFS used to have these.  I understood they were too small, or didn't have the lip.

Yes, there had been fitment problems from time to time.  I also have a pair of NOS OEM gaskets.  Maybe some day I'll get around to putting them on the 87.

Fierofool, would you measure the length and width of your NOS gaskets?  I'd like to compare.

Also, I'm looking for multiple people to measure the length and width of their spoiler stand bases at the gasket.

Gaskets are 7 1/4 by 1 15/16 or 1 31/32.  That is at a warm temperature in my garage.  Probably 80-85 degrees.

Were the issues with TFS gaskets length or width?  Anyone remember?

TFS has advised me that their current gaskets are improved over their previous gaskets.

Does anyone have a set of their previous gaskets?
